About Us

Established in 2001, The Sunni Muslim Youth is an organisation managed by the youth, for the benefit of the youth. It was founded to help the youth interact and learn more about Islam, in order to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. We have a dedicated and passionate group of brothers and sisters, who are working for the glory of Islam and purely for the pleasure of Allah.

In our heart of hearts, what we most want is to provide the conditions for young people to reach their highest human potential, based on sound Islamic principles and the perfect example of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Hence, we strive to provide the tools, concepts, skills, and support needed to accelerate youth development

Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, one of the TSMY's biggest achievements to date has been the establishment of an Islamic library. The Sunni Muslim Youth library is the only one of it's kind in the UK, created and managed by the youth. It is a non-profit resource centre, funded entirely by donations from the youth and the public.

We offer weekly study circles for the brothers and a seperate Arabic class for sisters. We also organise regular events featuring talks in English by distinguished scholars and inspirational Nasheeds. The outdoor activities we arrange include football, go-karting and paintballing.
